The Swedish Energy Agency have decided to partly finance a prototype project where Engbergs Transportsystem AB together with Elforest Technologies develop and equip a 80 tons log handler with an electric driveline.
The goal of the project is to reduce fuel consumption, emissions and noice.
Elforest Technologies deliver component selection, mechanical design, assembly, programming of control system and prototype machine start up. The powertrain will be a serial hybrid with diesel engine, generator, energy storage and propulsion motor. System voltage 750 V.
