The 13:th of October the worlds largest race for solar driven cars starts.

Between 13:th to 30:th of October a team from Jönköping University participate in a race across Australia.
Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is the world's largest race for cars powered only by the energy of the sun. Since 1987 solar powered cars from all over the world have competed in the 3022km long journey from Darwin to Adelaide.
The energy storage in the car is a 20 kg, 115 V Lithium-Ion battery with 5.3 kWh capacity. The battery is equipped with BMS (Battery Management System) from Elforest Technologies.
